Some mornings begin before we are ready for them. Others arrive slowly — with a little light through the window, the sound of water, and enough time to make a good cup of coffee.
At YAMAIKO, we are interested in those quieter moments. We select coffees for clarity, balance and character, then roast them with a light hand so that the qualities of each origin can be tasted rather than hidden. Nothing complicated. Just coffee that invites you to stop for a moment and pay attention.

We provide a starting point for each coffee, but the rest belongs to you.
Every cup begins somewhere.
Coffee carries the character of where it was grown — altitude, weather, soil, variety and the hands that cared for it before it reached us.
We choose coffees with traceable origins and distinct personalities, and we try to preserve those qualities through roasting. Sometimes that means a bright, delicate cup. Sometimes something rounder and more familiar.
Rather than chasing one fixed idea of what coffee should taste like, we prefer to let each coffee tell us what it wants to become.

YAMAIKO
YAMAIKO is a small coffee project inspired by the landscapes we return to when we need to slow down — mountains, forests, water and changing light.
We wanted to make coffee with the same feeling: straightforward, calm and connected to the everyday.
Our collection is intentionally small. We would rather offer a few coffees we understand well than fill the shelf with endless choices. Each one is selected, roasted and packed with the hope that it becomes part of a moment you want to return to.
